Best Drag Brunches on Cedar Springs

Sunday mornings on Cedar Springs hit different. Forget your quiet eggs-and-coffee routine — the Strip does brunch with heels, harmonies, and a whole lot of hairspray. Here are the drag brunches worth rolling out of bed for.

Hunky’s Drag Brunch

Every other Saturday at Hunky’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers, local queens host a family-friendly drag brunch that packs the patio. The burgers are as legendary as the lip-syncs. Get there early — the line wraps around the building by 11:30.

Rose Room Sunday Spectacular

The Rose Room inside Station 4 has launched more drag careers than any venue in Texas. Their Sunday matinee showcase features a rotating cast of queens who’ve graced national stages. Reservations recommended — this room fills fast.

Sue Ellen’s Patio Brunch

Sue Ellen’s rooftop patio turns into a brunch destination on weekends. Live music, a Bloody Mary bar, and occasional drag performances make this the most laid-back brunch option on the Strip. The oldest lesbian bar in the South knows how to do a Sunday right.

Whichever you pick, come hungry and tip your queens. They’re working harder than anyone else in the room.
