About

The working guide to queer Dallas.

Who we are, why we built this, and how we keep it accurate. Independent, editor-curated, and updated weekly.

Local-first guide

Built by people who live, work, and go out on Cedar Springs — not a corporate travel brand. Every recommendation is first-hand.

Community-powered events

Bars, performers, and venues submit their own events. We verify and publish — so you always know what’s on tonight.

Cedar Springs at the center

The Strip is our heart. Four blocks of Cedar Springs Road — every bar, every drag stage, every patio. We live here, and we map it.

Discover Gay Dallas is the LGBTQ+ guide to Dallas, Texas — built by locals who live, work, and go out on Cedar Springs Road. We’re not a corporate travel brand or a franchise. We’re a small team of community members who got tired of outdated guides and decided to build the one we’d actually use.

We cover the venues, events, neighborhoods, and stories that make queer Dallas what it is — from the legendary bars on the Strip to the drag brunch spots, the non-profits fighting for equality, and the quiet coffee shops where the community gathers before the patios open.

Every listing is first-hand. Every event is verified. Every recommendation comes from someone who’s been there — not an algorithm. We believe the best guides are written by people who care about what they’re writing about, and we care deeply about this city and this community.

If you have a tip, a correction, or a story you think we should tell, get in touch. And if you run a venue, host events, or lead an organization, let’s work together.
