Bike Racks on the Strip! Ribbon Cutting
You’ve heard of rainbow crosswalks. Now we give you Rainbow Bike Racks.
Join the Cedar Springs Merchant Association for a fun, campy ribbon cutting as we celebrate 18 new bike racks on the Strip. This Pride Month project reflects CSMA’s commitment to accessibility, inclusion, mobility, sustainability, and community care. By making it easier for neighbors, employees, and visitors to arrive by bike, we’re helping create a safer, healthier, and more connected Oak Lawn.
The celebration will include brief remarks from CSMA leadership, comments from Legislative Committee member Anish Tailor, a photo opportunity, the official ribbon cutting, music from DJ Level, and a drag performance by Leyte A. KAGE.
These new bike racks were planned by CSMA and privately funded through money raised from the Cedar Springs Wine Walk. The racks were manufactured by Reinhardt Fabrication, an LGBTQ-owned metal fabricator. Installation labor and costs were donated by TrueLine Marking and Stooc GC, two minority veteran-owned general contractors, with support and guidance from City of Dallas staff.
Come celebrate biking, Pride, and public space on the Strip.
