House music returns to the Oak Lawn Gayborhood as Mixed Majesty launches the Floor Freedom Foundation’s Friday-night series at Alexandre’s. Its Friday-night house and techno series at Alexandre’s with Mixed Majesty, a Dallas DJ and producer bringing an energetic, genre-spanning sound rooted in movement, self-expression, and connection.
Created as a queer-forward and intentionally inclusive nightlife experience, the series celebrates the Black and LGBTQ+ communities that shaped house music while making room for today’s diverse artists, music lovers, and culture makers.
Expect an evening that begins with accessible house grooves before building into deeper, more dance-driven sounds as the night unfolds. Come early, stay late, and help us begin something new in Oak Lawn.
