Dallas Hope Charities is turning 10, and the community is invited to celebrate a decade of service, connection, and Hope for All at the Legacy of Hope: 10th Birthday BBQ Bash.
Leave the formal wear at home and bring your best backyard cookout energy for an evening of barbecue, birthday cake, games, community entertainment, and celebration at Union Coffee Dallas.
Tickets are $50 per person and include:
- A barbecue dinner plate and iced tea from Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse
- Birthday cake from Daisy Cakes
- Classic backyard games
- Live community variety entertainment
- After-hours access to Union Coffee’s coffee and tea bar for additional purchases
This will be an alcohol-free event designed to provide a welcoming and inclusive celebration for the entire community.
Celebrating 10 Years of Hope
Dallas Hope Charities provides food, shelter, and services that instill dignity, stability, and Hope for All.
Through programs including the Dallas Hope Center, the organization provides affirming transitional housing and supportive services for LGBTQIA+ young adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Residents receive individualized support as they pursue employment, education, healthcare, financial stability, and independent living.
Every ticket purchased helps Dallas Hope Charities continue providing safe and affirming resources for young adults building more stable futures.
More Ways to Participate
There are several ways to join the Legacy of Hope celebration:
Attend: Purchase a ticket and celebrate with the Dallas Hope Charities community.
Volunteer: Help with setup, guest check-in, games, event operations, photography, videography, or teardown.
Perform: Local amateur musicians, singers, poets, comedians, storytellers, and other performers are invited to apply for the community variety showcase.
Bid: The online Legacy of Hope Auction opens Saturday, August 8, featuring local experiences, packages, and other items benefiting Dallas Hope Charities.
Come celebrate the people, partnerships, volunteers, and supporters who made the first ten years possible—and help Dallas Hope Charities begin its next decade of impact.
